We did a four-day trek with 4 people and two donkeys: Selvaggia and Carolina, two affectionate, quiet and reasonably docile quadrupeds. The tour was wonderful and perfectly organized by Tinne. We especially enjoyed the copious Ferragosto feast at La Landuccia and the discovery of the dilapidated but picturesque San Michele "spa" from the 15th century. All the overnight stays were pure luxury and the hosts were friendly and helpful. I wanted to extend my thanks to Tinne for driving with me to Cecina to take away our replacement car. This was already my fourth donkey trek (after the three in France), but this was by far the best and most beautiful!
