Hello, wir hatten eine sehr schöne und abenteuerliche Zeit mit unserer Eseldame Kamelia. Wir haben die wunderschöne Landschaft genossen, tolle Aussichten gehabt, uns im Flusswasser erfrischt, sogar Stachelschweinstacheln gefunden, die wunderbare Unterkunft mit Pool geschätzt und waren stolz, die langen Wanderungen trotz großer Hitze geschafft zu haben. We did the five-day trip libbiano together with our friends and children. A total of 5 adults and 5 children between 5 and 11. Added to that were Paula and Penelope, and what nice ladies they were. Sometimes a bit stubborn (though we all are sometimes) but mostly very sweet and affectionate. Our children found it super fun to brush and groom them.
The walks themselves, through beautiful countryside, were at times quite tough due to the heat. But all in all certainly doable with small children. The youngest ones could sit on the donkey when it was a bit flatter and of course they loved it.
Upon arrival we were always very warmly welcomed by the owners of the agriturismo. First putting the donkeys away in the meadow with fresh hay and water, and then finding refreshment at/in the pool (by the way, all B&B's are very beautiful, large enough and well maintained). In the evening we always got fantastic Italian meals, complete with dessert and limoncello and/or grappa.
For us an unforgettable experience and highly recommended! Our children still talk about 'their' donkeys every day and they are missed. Give them another big hug from all of us!!!

We are now back in Germany and are just reviewing our vacation. It really was a wonderful adventure with Carolina and Mojra - not always easy going, but we had great experiences and impressions. Above all, I have forgotten everything that is going on in the world at the moment and was completely in nature. That was really good. So please hug "our" two donkeys from us. We often speak of the two.

A settembre 2021 abbiamo trascorso una bellissima settimana insieme a Fiamma, una delle asine di Tinne. E´ stato il trekking più bello per la nostra famiglia:
- le nostre figlie, sempre attente ad occuparsi dell'asina, non si sono veramente accorte delle distanze che percorrevamo quotidianamente - o perlomeno non se ne lamentavano 😉
- tutti gli agriturismi in cui abbiamo pernottato (a volte in tenda, a volte in stanza) sono delle bellissime strutture (quasi sempre con piscina inclusa!), i proprietari molto simpatici e gentili e la cucina toscana è ovviamente squisita
- la natura dell' alta Val di Cecina ci ha impressionato, soprattutto per i bellissimi panorami che abbiamo visto durante il tragitto
- dopo qualche giorno l'asina è diventata un membro della famiglia aggiuntivo - una bellissima esperienza sia per noi genitori che per le nostre figlie
- l'organizzazione del tour è stata ottima da parte di Tinne, molto flessibile ad adattare il tragitto alle nostre richieste
In conclusione: un consiglio per tutti gli amanti della natura che vogliano fare un'esperienza di trekking diversa dal solito, con tanta genuinità, ma senza rinunciare a molti comfort ed all'ottima accoglienza delle strutture ricettive scelte da Tinne.
We walked a 7 day hike (with rest day) with Diaspora in the summer of 2021. It was a tough and very successful trip. We really spent a week feeling at one with nature. We met almost no people along the way and the food at the locations was top-notch everywhere. We liked it so much that we are going to do a similar trip again this year. Our 6-year-old son also enjoyed it, although it took some getting used to at first. We are a fit and athletic family but found the trek (in the middle of summer) challenging, especially the 1st and 3rd hiking days. Keep this in mind and set out on time. Diaspora is a tremendously sweet little donkey that we enjoyed very much. Thank you Tinne for arranging it, it was one of the most special vacations we have had as a family.

How much we enjoyed the ride! Camelia did super well and especially today we had a nice rhythm to it. The river was adventurous and this morning the donkeys were having some trouble getting apart, so Diaspora suddenly came running when we were just on the trail. She was very happy when she got to our little donkey and we waited a while for the other family to come running. Very funny for us. Otherwise it was very relaxed and we look back on 2 fantastic days. And gluten-free was both well organized, especially with Valentina it was pampering. Thanks for organizing and we will definitely recommend it to others!
Inammorato di Diaspora!
Wir haben Anfang Oktober die „kleine“ Trossa- Tour mit unseren Kindern (8&10) und der erfahrenen Eseldame Diaspora unternommen. Die Natur auf diese Weise kennenzulernen und Wege zu bestreiten, die man sich sonst gar nicht zutrauen würde (es ist zum Teil wirklich steinig, zerklüftet, steil und schwierig) hat uns alle sehr zufrieden gemacht und die Beschäftigung mit dem Esel lässt einen die Anstrengung und die Kilometer ganz vergessen. Die Unterkünfte waren ebenfalls sehr nett und gastfreundlich mit tollem Abendessen. Einziger Minuspunkt waren grässliche Betten und hellhörige Wände in der Fattoria Libbiano, wo wir kaum Schlaf fanden.
Insgesamt ist es eine einzigartige Erfahrung, einen solch charakterstarkem und gleichzeitig sanften, gutmütigen und treuen Esel kennenzulernen, mit dem man sich schon nach wenigen Stunden total verbunden fühlt.
Tinne hat eine super Organization mit ihrem GPS- und Kartensystem geschaffen und wir sind ihr dankbar für das geschwenkte Vertrauen, ihre Kunden mit ihren wertvollen Tieren losziehen zu lassen!
Wir kommen bestimmt wieder und unternehmen dann eine längere Tour!
At the beginning of October we booked a five day donkey trek. Our family are 5 persons: my husband, me and our 3 sons (17, 15 and 10 years old). Actually it was my idea to walk with a donkey through Tuscany. My older sons were skeptical about the planned hiking tour. But after the first day their opinion completely changed. They were excited! We spent marvelous days hiking through fields, woods and hills. We enjoyed delicious Italian food and the Italian hospitality. But first of all we loved our donkey Stella, she is a strong, patient and tender donkey lady! Tinne, thank you for this perfect family vacation!

Bertine, the girls (6 and 8) look back with enormous pleasure on the trip with Diaspora “our” donkey, because that's how we saw it a bit when we said goodbye after the trip. The girls really enjoyed taking care of Dia. The clear explanations from you, the beautiful landscape, the agriturismo's with the delicious food, swimming pools and tremendously friendly people, it was all great. The girls found it quite tough at the end of the day in the heat, but leaving earlier next day is a good tip. The scenery when the sun is just rising is perhaps even more beautiful. We recommend it, here at home in Den Bosch, to everyone!
Paola, dolce Paola ... the little donkey we got to take on an adventure. And an adventure it was. Such a first time out with a 1.5 year old toddler and a 6 year old stepper in warm temperatures.
We're going to be honest. Although we chose the easiest and shortest hike, it was still tough with such a little one around BUT really a super fun experience that we as a family will not soon forget. Adventuring and sleeping in a tent (although with the youngest we would recommend spending the night at the agriturismo itself, we thought it was a bit adventurous).
